Frequently Asked
Questions
1. Who is the K1 for?
Riders of all ages from 12 and up: teens, students, parents and grandparents. It’s at its best on flat paths and gentle slopes.
2. How much weight can it carry?
Up to 105 kg. It performs best for riders up to about 65 kg, so heavier riders will notice lower speed and range, especially uphill.
3. How far can it go on one charge?
Up to 35–40 km. Real range depends on rider weight, hills, wind and speed.
4. How long does it take to charge?
About 3–5 hours from a normal wall socket, using the charger that comes with it.
5. Does it really fold?
Yes, in seconds. Folded, it fits in a car boot, a cupboard or under a desk.
6. What warranty do I get?
A 1-year full warranty. If anything goes wrong in your first year, we sort it out.
7. Is delivery free?
Yes, free delivery to your door anywhere in South Africa.
8. Can I ride it in the rain?
We recommend avoiding heavy rain and deep puddles, and storing it indoors. Wipe it down with a damp cloth, never a hosepipe.
9. Where am I allowed to ride it?
Rules for e-scooters differ between areas in South Africa, so check the rules where you live. Always wear a helmet.
10. Still not sure if it’s right for me?
WhatsApp us your height, weight and the route you’ll ride, and we’ll give you an honest answer.
